Xperia XZs :The new Xpensive?

Sony has just launched its new premium device dubbed Xperia XZs, which comes in with some pretty neat features of its own. This can be considered the company's last stand in the smartphones world as we have not seen something good happening to Xperia devices as of late.

The phone has a metal unibody design and is 8 mm thick, which gives it a solid strong look( The devices uses a company exclusive ALKALEIDO™ metal back which, as claimed by the company, is a benchmark in terms of strength and quality).

Other than this unique feature, one thing that makes this phone stand out is the unique camera feature, which allows the user to take 'Super Slow Motion' videos(a whopping 960 frames per second). How slow these videos are going to be, is still untested. There is a 'predictive capture' feature which intelligently detects a probability of user clicking a photograph which will reduce the time taken to capture a photograph as it will keep on buffering the images and even if the user misses a shot, they can go back in time to get the desired one.

The camera used in the device is said to be a 'motion eye' camera which detects motions which human eye can not. Pretty interesting eh?
By far, the phone appears to be having something new, if not cutting edge.
The device has a IP65/68^2 construction which would prevent it from water spills and dust.
The device plays Hi-resolution audio files which is made possible by DSEE HX( digital sound enhancement engine) and Thank God, a 3.5 mm jack is supported, which is not a shock by the way, considering how thick the device is.
On the battery front, there are ultra smart battery saving features which, according to the company, make this phone possess 'the cleverest battery yet'.
The device has a triluminous display which is a FHD screen, though a QHD one would not have hurt considering the price.
You can play Ps4 games using the device, so on the go gaming will be a novelty feature for the device.

The device has to fight with the likes of Samsung galaxy s8 and the pixel range of devices,
and the fight would not be easy. The price will for sure be an issue for some.
No doubts the device has a lot to offer its users, but again,
the price and the current reputation of the company might be an issue for some users.
If you are OK with both the issues, you could definitely go for the device,
as it looks incredibly beautiful, and packs in a powerful set of specifications.
