Gionee M6S Plus : The real 'powerbank'

Gionee has announced a new smartphone called the Gionee M6S Plus. Though the company has not seen a big success lately, with some sub standard devices launched recently, so they had to try out something different, and it seems they have. With 6,020 mAh of capacity, this phone packs in a mammoth of a battery, which should be good enough for the phone to run for days without a charge.

The battery is not the only stand out feature of the phone, with a 6 inch AMOLED screen, the display is pretty amazing in itself.

A QUAD HD resolution would not have hurt though, but considering the primary key for the phone that is delivering an excellent battery life, a Full HD screen with an AMOLED panel would certainly help.
Under the hood, you would find a  Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 653 chipset with 6 GB of RAM.
The M6S Plus comes in two storage options. There's a 64 GB version of the device and a 256 GB variant as well. If this is still not enough, the memory can even be expanded up to 128 gigs using an external card.

On the camera front, you would find a 12 mp rear shooter with an f/1.9 aperture, good for capturing 4k videos, and an 8 MP sensor at the front. The phone would come with Android Marshmallow with Gionee’s custom user interface on top (Amigo 3.5), but Android Nougat would be available for the device pretty soon as well.
The Gionee M6S Plus will officially be available from May 2. The expected price of the device is 3,499 yuan or $510 for the 64 GB variant, while the 256 GB version will cost you somewhere around 4,299 yuan ($625).
