Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus Prices and Variants Leaked Online

There have been a lot of talks going on about the upcoming flagship from xiaomi, the Mi 6, with a plethora of leaks coming out every single day, taking us closer to the final, actual device, which, apparently, is not that far from our reach now.

Some new leaked renders came up yesterday. which suggest a possible release of the phone on April 11, alongwith pricing and the different variants of the Mi 6 range.

The leak has been released by Gizchina, which suggests that the phone will be launched in the following variants :
4GB of RAM + 32GB internal storage which will be available for CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,000)
4GB + 64GB for CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 21,800)
and 6GB + 128GB for CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,600)

The bigger Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, is supposedly coming in these variants:
4GB of RAM + 64GB storage for CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,700)
6GB + 128GB for CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 28,500)
and 8GB + 256GB for CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 33,200)

That means the phone would range from somewhere around 20,000 INR to 34,000 INR for the highest spec model.

This is a very bold decision by xiaomi as the Mi 6 plus will be competing heads up with the likes of Oneplus 3T, which has been a hot favorite ever since its launch.

As of now, the processor has not been confirmed yet, but a Snapdragon 821 is almost certain to arrive considering the price point, with a rumored 12mp + 20 mp dual rear camera setup, a full HD screen, fingerprint scanner, and fast charging support. On the software front, it would run nougat on top of Miui 9 out of the box.

Considering the failure of the previous flagship( Mi 5, ever heard of it? It was launched in India indeed), and the kind of monopoly xiaomi has maintained in Indian market in the sub 10k segment, this would be a very bold decision if they launch the 35k variant in India, which is highly unlikely considering the Indian markets did not get the amazing Mi Mix as well, and the price was one of the main issues behint it being not launched in India.

So there are still a lot of questions about the Mi 6 launching in India, but if it does, this phone would for sure stir the monopoly of the oneplus 3t in the mid 30 market, as there haven't been much good devices in that range lately.

Rumored leaks:

We will be extremely happy if the end product looks like any of these, for they all look stunning.
